Announcement of Vacancy for Courier Driver

Transportation

Qualifications:


Must have a High School Diploma or G.E.D.


Must possess and maintain a valid South Carolina driver's license in good standing


Must meet all district requirements for operating a district vehicle

Essential Duties:

Processes incoming and outgoing correspondence


Pick up and deliver mail, packages, supplies, documents. and other materials between schools and district facilities


Load, unload, sort, and organize materials for delivery


Maintain accurate delivery records and follow established routes and schedules


Operate district vehicles safely and responsibly while complying with all traffic laws and district procedures


Perform other related duties as assigned


Reports to the Director of Transportation

Contract Length: 240 days (part-time) less than 30 hours per week
